New Work

This is the place to view my most recent creations and read about the inspirations and techniques behind them. My intention is to bring the mystery and wonder of the botanical world into the home in every season through the vehicle of fine porcelain.

I began making select forms with grolleg porcelain, also known as English china clay or English Porcelain. Look for ones marked English China Clay.

Those of you that collect this work will immediately see the difference. The primary distinction is the greater brilliance of the glazes. The clay is more translucent, the colors, saturated.

When you scroll thru these new images, you’ll see the difference. The best way is to have the piece in hand. New also are a few pieces with multiple layers of etching, giving greater depth to the designs and richness to the glazes.
